2. Quotations and Pricing

  • Inventory Accuracy: Quotes are provided based on the volume and quantity of items disclosed by the client. Any additional items not mentioned during the initial survey or booking will result in an adjustment of the final price.
  • Wait Times: Our team operates on a strict schedule. Delays caused by the client (e.g., waiting for building access or late keys) may result in an additional “Wait Time” fee of 150 AED per hour.

3. Building Access and Permits (NOCs)

  • Client Responsibility: In Abu Dhabi, most residential and commercial buildings require a No Objection Certificate (NOC) or a moving permit. It is the client’s sole responsibility to secure these from building management (e.g., Aldar, Provis, Nakheel) before the move date.
  • Fines: Any fines incurred due to missing permits or illegal parking requested by the client will be added to the final invoice.

4. Packing and Handling of Goods

  • Prohibited Items: For safety reasons, Mashal Movers will not transport hazardous materials, flammable liquids, gas cylinders, or perishable food items.
  • Valuables: We strongly advise clients to personally carry jewelry, cash, passports, expensive watches, and small electronics. Mashal Movers is not liable for the loss of items that should have been kept in the client’s personal possession.

5. Damage Claims and Insurance

  • Inspection: The client must inspect all furniture and belongings immediately upon the completion of the move.
  • Reporting: Any damage claims must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of the service completion. Claims made after this period will not be considered.
  • Liability Limit: While we take the utmost care, our standard liability for accidental damage is limited to repair or a maximum of 500 AED per move, unless a premium comprehensive insurance plan was purchased beforehand.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • 24-Hour Notice: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling.
  • Fees: Cancellations made on the day of the move will incur a 25% service fee to cover logistics and labor costs already assigned.

7. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is due immediately upon completion of the moving service.
  • We accept Cash, Bank Transfer, or Online Payment (as applicable).

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the local regulations of Abu Dhabi.
